Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting open-source information to provide actionable intelligence to support our organization’s mission. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth open-source research using various tools, databases, and methodologies to gather relevant intelligence.
- Monitor and analyze online sources, including social media platforms, news websites, forums, and blogs, to identify emerging threats, trends, and developments.
- Evaluate the credibility, reliability, and relevance of collected information to produce accurate and timely intelligence assessments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing investigations, operations, and decision-making processes.
- Prepare clear and concise intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of current events, geopolitical dynamics, and technological advancements relevant to the intelligence landscape.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques, including data mining, link analysis, and pattern recognition, to uncover insights and connections within large datasets.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines while handling sensitive and classified information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or Computer Science. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in intelligence analysis, preferably focused on open source intelligence.
- Strong understanding of OSINT principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in utilizing OSINT tools and platforms, such as Maltego, Palantir, Recorded Future, and others.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for access to sensitive compartmented information (SCI) and willingness to undergo periodic reinvestigations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with geospatial analysis tools and techniques.
- Previous experience working in a classified environment or supporting government agencies.
- Certification in relevant areas such as Certified Open Source Intelligence Professional (COSIP) or similar.
